Default VITAL MUSTANG QUEsTIONS AND NEW PAINT JOB!

right now i have streight pipe, meaning instead of mufflers i have streight pipe with the rest factory, factory mid , headers, etc. what would it sound like with a off road X and streights i know it would be loud, and some ppl dont like the sound of streights but, would the sound be alot more raspy or just louder? and 2 question is whats the best diff fluid and how much doesa 2000 gt take?

the paint job color is metlica orange its same that was on zo6 vette, and very simliar to berlumm orange (Spell) all my friends hate the color . its a real saleen, should i paint the saleen side scoops black along with the spolior or keep it one color..

The answer to your exhaust question: It will sound like complete ***, it will be a very nasty sound. You just spent how much on a paint job? Don't cheap out, get a catback.

I think I'm gonna have to agree with your friends, I'm not feeling the color at all, you should have kept it black.

Paint it all one color.

I have a question. In that picture of the paintjob, looks like it has orange peel (the texture of the paint). Did they do ANY prepwork, wetsanding or anything?

or is it just the camera

Gotta learn to use that damn spell check bro ! trying to figure your first question out just gives me a migraine. second question Ams oil 80w-90 or Mobil 1 75W-140 , Your manual should tell you how much you need. The color is not bad just doesnt seem appealing on a new edge mustang. thumbs up tho for trying some different looking sh#t ! I hope your going chrome wheels w/ that color , Any other wouldnt look that good. Also you should think about some burnt orange interior to set it off , if it can look good in a 350z I think it would look good in a mustang.

I thought the same thing, the reflection from the light on the hood makes the paint texture look bad. That thing should look like glass, is it cleared yet?

I'm not saying it's ugly, it's just not my cup of tea. I think a two-tone with that color and black would have been interesting.

I know exactly what it sounds like, I used to have the same thing. I cut the mufflers out and left the stock H on, and I hated it. With an o/r x it will sound horrible.
