I'd bet it would cheaper to repair it. You would only have to pay for damage fix, prep, and paint VS. New body part, body part removal (unless done yourself), prep, and paint.

Hell, as far as paint it would be just a touch up, be blended in with the rest, and would probably be hardly noticeable if at all.
