Default What I sold my mustang for! - Build Thread

Well, 1.5 years ago I sold my supercharged GT. I wanted to build something exactly the way I wanted. Whenver I sold it, I told the members on here i'd post a build thread when I was done so here it is. Not sure if anyone is still around from then though.

Anyway, It's a sonic blue 93 rx7, ccw sp500 wheels, nitto 555rii's all the way around. Head/Cam Ls2, ~450rwhp, 2900 lbs. Going to the dyno next weekend.

very nice. There are some LS swapped RX7's around here, but none as clean as yours.

I almost hate to ask this, but I'm going to. How much $$ do you have invested, in the total project?

Thanks,
Mike

Kinda depressing haha, around 35k, including the car. The good thing is I won't lose too much if I ever decide to sell it. Average stock looking ls1 swaps are going for low 20's.

Paint: 5k
Wheels/Tires: 5k
Complete Engine/tranny/heads/cam/valvetrain: 10k

VERY NICE! I absolutely love the FD body style, it was so ahead of its time. and when you pair that with the punch of an LSx American v8 you get one hell of a car.
