Staggered tire sizes
Hey guys, I'm looking at getting new rims and tires and I wanted to keep 245's up front and get 315's in the rear.
That being said how bad will the wear be without being able to rotate the tires? What do you guys with staggered tire sizes do?

i had staggered sizes on my 5.0 and there was nothing you could do about rotating your tires. tire wear really wasn't that big of a deal, but i didn't drive my car a whole lot.
btw...if the rim is a 9", the 245s will look pretty skinny on it.

what tire size would you reccomend to make life easier. The car is my daily driver and I dont really want to replace front tires because they are worn unevenly.

Honestly staggered tires do look good, but on a stock or close to stock Mustang I would have to suggest 275's on all four corners. That way you can still rotate.
But that depends on the application.
If its mostly a drag/street car and you don't have plans for slicks 315's are the way to go and the front tires size doesn't matter.
But if you want to road race/auto-x or push it on backroads or anything involving turns 275's are the way to go. running 315's and 245's would leave you with CATASTROPHIC understeer issues.
But its your car so your call.

Im also in the market for a set of tires. Im curious what to put out back though. Currentally I have 285 35 18's and they look good but i want to go a little wider. Im afraid they may rub if I go any bigger though. I have h&r supersports. Can i put a 295 tire on with no issue?

Good choice on wheels! Go 275 & 315's! They look great!
Since you're looking at those wheels, and your car is red. I guess this is my cue for some selfless show off
Overall I am really happy with the wheels, good luck in your quest for wheels. And as for wear, with a bolt on GT, you won't be able to roast something like Nitto 315's. I get a big fat chirp in 2nd and that's it.
