Default Tell me about Nitrous set ups! I'm new to all this..

This seems like the best way to get the most horsepower/torque per dollar. I will be considering this mod when I get my stang but have a few questions.

Say I want to do a low HP shot. I'm talking 50-70 HP -

Will I need to install bigger injectors?

What other mods are necessary or would you say are a "must have" for a Nitrous set up?

How much does it cost to refill a Nitrous Oxide bottle and where do you typically get it done at?

Which kits are most popular around here for 2V 4.6 new edge motors?

you will not need injectors/fuel pump/re-tune AS LONG AS you keep it at 100 shot or lower....as far as filling bottle, most speed shops do,but i couldnt tell you how much it is these days

So that is like $1300 for the parts. Not too bad, still cheaper than super or turbo charging.

Prolly not even that much... 600 for a kit, 100 for a window switch, and 100 for a heater. That's all you need. And I don't even run a heater. And don't waste your time, make sure it works w the 75 jets, then throw the 100s in it.

Its about 50-60 bucks to fill a bottle. Usually machine shops, speed shops, and the track will fill them

Harris speed works and dynotune nitrous kits are good for cheaper than zex or Nx. If you get a wet kit you dont need new injectors or fuel pump. It cost me $27.50 to fill up my 10 lbs nitrous bottle.

$27 sounds great! Cost me $40 every fill. $1300 is way to high of an estimate. My NX plate kit with window switch and Zex purge was only $900 Installed. SCREW A BOTTLE HEATER! Instead of spending 150 on a heater spend $5 on two Map Torches that last for months. IF YOU KNOW WHAT YOUR DOING

So if I go with a wet kit I don't need injectors, but I will need new injectors on a dry kit?

Whats the biggest benefit to a wet kit? Is it more expensive and harder to install?
