Heres one for you also. About a year ago I bought an eddie baur expo, 4x2, all options, clear title and navigation, 90k miles, for $6000 out the door. Bank value was $12,900 and NADA was like $11,500. And I bought it from a mazda dealer, I know that is a different car, but Im just letting you know that the car business requires a BS in BS, I got one.
im not arguing that deals can be had...i just sold a fully built/blown 89 iroc with 60k original miles for 2k...it could have pulled 10k or more, easily....but auctions, that rare find, inheritance, whatever you wanna play into it, does not devalue the majority of cars...i just watched an 03gt with 50k miles and built suspension and some dumbass body kit go for 14k...thats about double what it is worth....the market for these cars is ridiculous up here

I agree with that, I see alot of stupid deals... esp. on cobras. I just don't appreciate being called an "idiot", imo a car is only worth what I am willing to pay for it and since Im only willing to pay the lowest, but reasonably fair price I see in a market, that it is what it is worth to me.

TRADE MY Mach 1 HOOD + scoop set up for easy GT install (attached, no intake system necessary, unless you want it) for a COWL hood and maybe STOCK + CASH (but probably not). The hood is painted silver, in great shape, does need a color sand, but thats no biggie. Would prefer a swap for a silver one, but will consider many options. Need to trade due to changed plan on this car. RTP/Greensboro/Charlotte
