Neon is: Rice, stupid, ridiculous, unnecessary garbage that only a person with awful taste will install or have installed on their vehicle. They want attention so they think that pretty neon lights will make then attractive when they cruise with their music up loud and their left arm flexed sitting on top of the steering wheel.

Personally I would rather have a Turbo Integra GSR... With oh I dunno 5k? I would be stomping fools in their GT that think their 2v 4.6 is something special.
The funny thing about the Mustang community that I have noticed is generaly they talk SO much crap about anything with less than a 4.6 in it; In all actuality the Mustang is the Ricer of the domestic world. Hell a new 4 banger will damn near beat a New edge GT stock for stock it seems. Like it or not, the Japs got it right.
i've said it before expect i used the word, import lol And for the same reason the other guy pointed out, smallest displacement v-8 out of all the "fast" competetors from other companies, OHC motor, can only really go anywhere with boost or sinking a ton of money i n N/A. IIRC You can get complete turbo kits for ~$4000, less if you fab/piece it together, and you can make 300whp, which is alot for one of those light ass cars.
IIRC my brother had a built all motor GSR integra, only made 211whp and he walked quite a few 2vs, even one with gears. The damn thing also revved to 9200RPM lol.

No way is the 2v rice at all , Its more the simple mans muscle car. The two valve engine is very reliable and can be made into a very dangerous street machine at a lower cost then a corvette or a charger. Ye so the new quad engines are keeping up with the 2v but sh*t the new edge is damn near 11 years old , Of course I would expect a newly designed car to be better then a decade old vehicle. So the other American cars have bigger engines but they dont compare at all with the mustang when it comes to style , sound , reliability and price. The mustang is and always will be king of the American car scene no matter what and ford probally laughs at all the down talking everyone says why ? because while people are saying how much the mustang sucks there still selling the hell out of them.
I Also think there are alot of ticked off mustang owners out there that thought there mustang was gonna be a bad ass street machine because it had a V8, after there first race with a bigger LS engine they are feeling stupid so they down talk the mustang. Its like buying a 240sx and expecting to beat a Evo stock for stock.
