thank you for all the replys i spoke to him and hes really not budging lower than 18k maybe 17.5 absoutle lowest.he told me again the cars has 10k in extras plus the low miles and condition makes it worth the 18.5k.
its seems like a really nice car but i dont want to jump the gun and pay more than i should.

+23 just like everyone else said,,,
the market for new edge stangs *whether we as owners like it or not* should be damn near rock bottom right now
there are 2 new models out AFTER ours, and the 'newest' new edge is almost 6 years old now.
05-08 or so GT's are going well below that with 30K ish miles.
I'd suggest that you offer 14K tops, but there's a very good chance he's not going to come down. Honestly, 18K for a '04GT with 20K miles? Damn....

2008 GT's (on average) are not going well below $18,500 with that low mileage.
rarr
17.5k is still way too much for an 04 GT. PASS

As far as I'm concerned "extras" hardly ad to the value of a car. A dealership sure won't give you more for it. When I look for a car I find one that hasn't been messed with. If it's really 10k in extras tell him you will give $9000 without all the aftermarket stuff.
