To a dealer or 99% of other people on this planet - nothing.

if you really want the car that much then offer 15k for it , if he dont except it then walk and look for a cobra , cheaper GT , mach 1 or a used s197. Tell him no one will pay that in this economy so if he dont like the offer leave your number and tell him to call you. Also when people think mods they think someone beats up on the car so there must be something wrong with it , thats just your average joe looking for a car that doesnt know the value of certain mods (typically the first thing they do to a car is a Cold Air Intake and expect the 20 hp the ad promotes.).

thanks everyone i really appreciate the help and input on the mustang.i spoke to him today and i orginally thought he had the reciepts to the extras, but he infomed me today he doesnt have any.he is going by the last owners and what he looked up online as far as coming up with the 10k in extras.i think thats some good advice about leaving my number with the offer.he did tell me today the book on the car stock is 16k i looked up kelly and it was about 14k?nada clean retail was 16.5k?

A pretty good rule of thumb is you will never get your money back on mods you do. Unless it a seriously built car and even then you still won't get a good return on investment. I'd pass, there are tons of mustangs out there!
