Default 94' Lincoln Mark VIII

the teksid block that comes out of these.. is that the exact identical same block that i have in my '96 cobra? Im asking cause the guy selling is says its a complete longblock, however i thought my 4.6l 32v 281 was a shortblock... was that just a typo? or are they different? could i still use this?

Shortblock= block with crank/pistons/rods..your rotating assembly.

Longblock= shortblock+heads/cams..yada yada

Yes the Mark motor uses the same block. It is a little different though, I think it uses different heads and intake so it doesnt pump out as much HP as a cobra motor.

Its a modular block, you should be able to swap out everything without issue.

no, they are all based off the same block, as long as u use an intake that fits it should work.

The Mark VIII doesn't use different heads. It uses the same B heads the 96-98 cobra uses. It also uses the same forged crank and teksid block. The difference is the intake and cams.
