Default Finally peace and quiet!

Finally, i can have a normal conversation in my car without yelling at my passenger!!! I have had dynomax race bullets on my car for about 2 years and they were just too loud. Granted i have and o/r xpipe, longtubes, and cams I knew it still wasn't going to be quiet. I recently purchased a Magnaflow Catback (not"mangapacks"), from completeexhaust.com (which i would recommend to anybody on here that wants Mangaflow because i got a great deal), and it exponetially quieter inside my car and out. Its still loud when I am messing around but its is so quiet at idle (compared to what im use to). I actually left work early today to put it on. I'm a CPA and i went to my boss and told him I had to leave early to go put it on and he laughed. Luckly he is a cool guy and let me go, I think he left to after I did because he lives down the street from me and after i finished putting it on his vette was in his driveway. The install went very smoothly except for cutting my old system off. I had to take a hack saw to it, do you have any idea of how long that takes? Anyways, It was fun and I even got my little brother to help me! I would have needed three arms to do it by myself. Well techincally i could have done it but having another hand there to help is always a plus! Anyways, i will upload a sound byte tommorrow on this same thread and a few blurry pictures i took with my blackberry.

Wow...you went from Dynomax race bullets (i assume that's what you had based on your vid) to a regular Magnaflow catback? That must be a big difference!

Really old? 23 must be the new 40 LOL! My knees feel old after 2 Acl surgeries in two years. Of course those injuries ended up finishing off my college basketball career and occured 4 years ago, i still feel like an Old man with crackling knees! Therefore i have an excuse to put quiet exhaust on my car!

could you have put some Dynomat in your car to deaden the outside exhaust sound? I might do that if my car gets to loud....
