Well jazzer, i already run nitto 285 wide on the back of my car as it is and it fits almost perfect. No stretching or bulging. but i was wanting a little bit wider tire and i thought that the 295's wouldnt be that big of a jump from the 85's and might be a 7/16's wider or so...just a thought since nittos run narrow. thanks for getting back to me about it. I think that i will probably go with the 285/35-18's for the back.

you **** up the sidewall and its no good.....why would anyone ever run a tire that size on that wheel?
What size tire/wheel combo are we looking at here?

285/50/20 on a 20x9 wheel....the tire fit fine, just was low on air so much since it had a leak that even though i filled it up constantly, it wore out the sidewall...posted the pic to show the results of a bad sidewall

Wow... even idiots can get there hands on a good ole Mustang.
BTW you guys think 285/35/18 or 295/35/18 would be okay on an 18x10.5 wheel? I dont really have the money to go bigger than that. I currently have 275/40/18s from the idiot who had them before me.

^ Either of those sizes are going to be fine on a 10.5" wheel and actually run a bit "thin", IMO. I can only imagine what a 275 looks like on a 10.5"

Jazzer

teej... I am hoping to get the chance to go by today and take a closer look

I run 18x10 and i have 295/35/18 on them and it looks perfect. the tire doesnt buldge out at all. i would say 295 would be the smallest i would put on a 10.5" wide wheel. and like jazzer said, i would be scared to see a 275 on a 10.5" wheel

Ive seen it...it is terrible!!! my dad traded in a car up at work that had 17" bullitt wheels and they were black on a torch red car. He was gonna trade the wheels that are on my car right now for the black bullitts but my car is dark blue and that would have looked rediculous. They were 10.5 in the back and it had 275's on it and they were stretched to kingdom come!!! I was like NO WAY would i ever feel safe running those tires on that width wheel!!!
