Bought a 99 Cobra
Well I've been needing a new daily driver for a while, and not wanting the note a new car brings, I bought myself a 99 Mustang Cobra. It's had the recall fixes, and is good to go. I'll be picking the car up tomorrow morning. Selena (my 95) had major gasket failure all over the engine last night under normal driving (no I wasn't being stupid), the passenger side head gasket blew, lower intake gasket, and timing cover gasket, so I'm in the process of fixing her back up, but this time I'll be rebuilding the motor and may stroke it out, not sure to what size, and I'll probably put in a Steeda #19 cam, and now I have the time to do the work with my new daily driver. I'm so excited to have a car that just "works" and is "reliable" for a change

EDIT: So what color is the cobra? Any mods? how many miles??
and how much power is selena pushing?

Put it this way, the 320 bhp Cobra seems slow as ***** compared to Selena. If I had to guess (no I havn't been to the dyno, I've been doing nothing but working out bugs with Selena), but once I get her back together I found a local shop that can tune the car, I'm going to the dyno. As it sits (if I don't do a cam or stroke the engine), Selena is pushing approx 370 rwhp give or take 10 rwhp untuned. That Kenne Bell made a world of difference.
The Cobra is white (not my favorite color but beggers can't be choosy). I got the car for $11,500 with 57,000 miles on the frame. The motor is brand new with 10,000 miles as the previous owner screwed the old motor up. The rear end has been swaped from an IRS to a solid rear axel. There is a Centriforce stage 1 clutch, K&N drop in, O/R h pipe, Flowmaster exhaust. Not a bad little car at all, I'm just happy to have something that runs and the power windows actually work.
