Default horsepower gain

So i just bought a ford racing PI intake manifold, high flow fuel rails, 30lb fuel injectors, and a ford racing mass air flow sensor. what kind of horse power should i expect without a custom tune, and how much more will i get once i do get a dyno tune?

im not for sure on numbers but go with a tuner instead of a dyno tune. the tuner can change as you put new parts on, just update the tune on the car as new parts come. a dyno will only be set with the parts listed. as you get new parts, you will have too redyno. i enjoy my sniper tuner but there are others out there. just are around this forum, ppl will suggest what they feel they like

lol your not doing anything for a performance gain. All your doing is putting way bigger injectors than you need.

01-03 mustang gt's have the PI intake stock. I don't think you'll get much of a hp gain from the intake manifold. Don't waste your money.

Without a tune, 20HP to 30+HP less than you have now, the 30lb/h injectors are way too big and without a tune the engine will run pig-rich.

I see that you changed your order to 24lb/h injectors, these will still be too large and make the engine run rich--maybe you'll only lose 10-20 HP.

The OEM tune in your '00 GT is configured for 19lb/h (orange) injectors, Ford realised these were too small and installed 21lb/h (pink) injectors in late 2001/2002 MY production. The tune (low and high injector slopes) seems to have been unaltered, making GT's with the pink injectors run a bit rich at WOT.

If you really want more power buy a tuner, you'll need it to account for any change of injector capacity anyway.

At its extreme it is making what you want from what you can get.

Coming from the "NITROUS EXPERT" that tells people that you have to add larger injectors to a MACH1 when you shoot a NX 150 WET shot, I find that ironic and funny as hell!

I see you have polluted this site also with your foolish INTERNET tech!

i have 24 lb/hr injectors, however i also have a cobra maf that's calibrated for it. plus i have a sniper tuner. no change in power for going from 19-24 though. the injectors just work less hard, only when the 19's are maxed will you gain power from upgrading really.

However, if you bought them you'll be ready for a F/I or N2O or ported heads later on down the road
