The waterpump the optispark the exhaust manifolds all sucks and are terrible to work with. But they do incredibly well with a nice set of heads a matching cam, and full exhaust.

It was juiced at one point, 75 shot, i dont know if it affected the engine much or at all

I would say it depends on what you are looking for. If all your after is 1/4 time then buy the lt1. Personally I do not like driving them, not comfortable for me and I do not like the interior and the big hump in passenger side. But if speed is all your after then I think you know your answer.

even with 110k miles 5gs is a good price for that newedge, call me a fanboi but LT-1s won't outrun a 2v by much and i'll trade .1 in the 1/4 for looks.

not to mention you can throw 4.10s in the mustang for $500 labor included and compete with cammed LT-1s all day.
