last night i was cruising down the highway when i got a flat tire, i pulled over and put my spare on. today i plugged the hole that was in my tire and when i went to inflate the tire the sidewall started to bubble all the way around the tire. needless to say the sumitomo tires are not good at all. you get what you pay for. i know people have been saying they were not that good of a tire and its true, just wanted everyone to know.

im sorry that you had to go through that.. that really sucks.
when i got my 315/35/17 nitto 555 extreme performance tires, i got a nail in one of them. needless to say, i was PISSED... $200 a pop. but i was able to patch it up (even though the wheel machine scraped my brand new rims...)... things dont always work out....
my friend just got a code P0306 --- cylinder 6 misfire detected.. imagine what he is going through? if the spark plug shot out, he is F*cked
my car got a door opened into it a while back and now i have a dent to loook at for the rest of the time i own this car...
im not bringing you down, but we all have Sh*t happen to us.. it happens to everybody. im sorry it had to happen to you
at least the tire didnt blow out on the highway or something

yea it sucks when bad things happen to nice cars. so far mine is alright xcept the air conditioner which is getting a new compressor and condensor under waruntee and should be done tomorrow
i'm running sumitomo, always having to put air in them, they hold pretty well, decent tire i guess, no other problems than just having to put air in the few times a month. nitto will be my next purchase, sucks, sorry to hear about the bad luck. some places offer tire insurance.. came in handy a time or two. $20 instead of like $300

ya i know that everyone has stuff go wrong, i was just tryin to let everyone know that the sumitomo tires are no good, giving my input on them
Just because you had a bad/defective tire doesn't mean in any way shape or form they are a bad tire. You may have had damage done to the side wall when it went flat but that doesn't mean ALL Sumitomo's are bad, it could have happened with any tire.
