if you have to ask it probably wont come out very good. i would suggest just paying a professional to do it. ive watched pro's tint my car a few times and its not hard in theory but it def takes some acquired skill. one time i was helping my friend tint his firebird himself, not as easy as it looks.
I used to have a 3000gt and had the same problem. The rear window is curved on all sidesw, almost like a bubble. I would suggest holding out and getting it done professionally
Side windows are cake. Back window will take some work.
Go to snaptint.com. They sell pre-cut window tint and it fits perfectly and it's a hell of a lot easier getting a pre-cut piece than it is to cut it yourself. I ordered a kit for my girlfriend's Celica and it was like $65 shipped to my door. That was all windows (5) at 20%. It turned out great and has been on there for 2 years now with no fading or bubbling. They will even let you mix and match, 5% for the back and 20% for the sides if you want. No this is not my company, nor do I have any affiliation with them in any way. I've had good experiences with them, that's all.
Piece of advice, use PLENTY of solution (soap and water) and make sure your windows are 100% CLEAN.
The decal on my hood was a nightmare... I couldn't imagine doing the back window on my own.

dropped about an inch with some appearance crap & just sits in the garage.
I would just pay to have it done. New a kid that was into that sort of thing, he had to do his whole families cars before he got it down to where they started looking good. I wouldn't make my mustang the first one I did. I only paid $125 for my 20% all around, plus windshield stripe.

if you do decide to do it yourself lightly sand the rear window where the rough "bubbles" or black things are or else your tint will bubble up and not stick.

I bought a goldfish, named it after my ex-girlfriend, and let it die. It's really the little things in life.
+1 to sanding the dot matrix on the back, also on the quarter windows to avoid getting an "outline". i did my side windows myself but then i took one look at the rear glass and decided to pay somebody to do it
