New engines are always a little bit questionable, but I would have to look into the Cobra much deeper first and see if it is well taken care of. A cobra is not a car worth passing up without checking out. Use the GT as the backup option.

The story I got from the guy is that it was bought from a car lot in fishers.IN for 10k maby a couple years ago when this kid was in high school...when he said that it kinda push me away a little bit he said they bought it with 95k on it at 110k he said he spun the connecting rod bearings on three differnt cylinders so they had it rebulit by his uncle that works at a mechine shop.and also he said theres a a slit huming sound coming from the rear end. I know the cobras have a rear independent suspention set up but are they known to go out quicker than a straight axle?

That's not quite the same as a new engine....pass on the Cobra. What's your budget?
