Default Engine/Tune Problem

Well heres the deal.

Had my motor rebuilt with cams, ported heads.pi intake,tb,etc.

Brought it in for a dyno tune and it has lost a lot of power.
The tune was installedis a standard one done at a local
performance shop.

Would the tune make the motor that much more sluggish if
you will.

Granted it idles better know,But the power difference is very
noticeable.

as silly as it may sound, it could have a lot to do with the transmission. I had a similar issue with my ranger(it was automatic). Thats actually the reason I gave up on modding an auto lol. I unfortunately cannot offer much insight, as I'm not sure what they ever did to correct it. Im drawing a blank like a dummy right now and its making me mad lol.

I would call them or talk to them and ask if they messed with any of the transmission timing/tuning. Another thing I suppose could be a drastic change in the tourqe curve, and it might not jive well with your converter stall speed. Do you have a factory converter?

Did the shop degree your cams? And what size cams you running?
