Default California Mustang Owners BEWARE OF NEW EMiSSIONS LAW!!!!

Guys I bought some high flow cats that were supposed to be 50 state legal, but California passed a law that all cats installed after Jan 1st of 2009 have be stamped with OBDII Certs and the CARB certification. Be careful what you buy or install. I have to buy a used stock H pipe and install it since my stock was modified with a universal cat, but after so many miles the stock cats wont be allowed if they are outside of there warranty period and you will have to buy these special cats that are stamped.

http://www.arb.ca.gov/msprog/aftermk...ftermktcat.htm
Read this webpage before buying what some people call a 50 state legal catted x or h pipe. They are wrong!

Thanks guys!

I moved from Cali to Michigan for College. I can complain in the opposite direction. WTF is this winter Crap. I'd move back to Cali in a heart beat if my wife didn't have such a great job here.

If you have stock cats on they still make you buy ones that are CARB stamped? I can't imagine that's legal that they force you to buy something for your car when you have parts from the factory on it. How can they enforce emissions laws on cars that didn't exist when the car was made?
