Brandon Alsept recently went 10.27@129MPH with ported SVO heads, TFS intake at 2700lbs.

Fastest I know on a bone stock shortblock is Starkie at 11.5@115MPH

How much would it really be though? Probably 5k or so? Id pay 5k for 400+ N/A rwhp, its so much easier to make power with F/I but something about being all motor just makes it so much sweeter.

I guess I should have said TF CLAIMS the heads with the right cam set up can make 385rwhp.

i think i would be pushing 300+ rwhp with a really good 93 tune. my timing was not even touched. my whole motor including the injectors/cai and ud pullies and the tune was a little less than 3k.

Not to do it right. The TF heads are like $2500 by themselves, so there's half of your $5,000. Now find me a 5.4 stroker high compression shortblock and good set of cams and a dyno tune for under $2,500, and I'll eat my hat. And I don't own a hat, so I'll go out and buy one just to eat it.

What do you need a stroker for? Just grab an f150 block and get to work. But even then itd probably go over 5k, but probably not by much. Having to do a high comp fully forged rotating assembly is going to be big bucks whether its a stroker or not unfortunatly.

You probably need to include an aftermarket intake as well to do that. We have done a couple different cams on a TFS head/plastic intake/Cobra shortblock motor and they all make the same power curves above 4500RPM with a 350RWHP peak.

Don't forget to add the $800 for the special intake needed for a 5.4 2V.
