whats the point for the f150 block?

think about it though, maybe im just retarded but if the foxlake ported TF's flow 263cfm's. and what do 4v's flow? right around there isnt it? and they are capable of 370+, i dont see why it would be so hard. only bad part would be reving your motor to the moon

Do you mean capable of 370+ CFM? Or RWHP? Cause you're never getting any modular head to flow 370 CFM.

FYI, ported 4v heads can flow 300+ CFM.

High revving V8's are like sex to my ear drums. Id love to build a 5.4L 2V or 4V and make it rev to 8k or so, thatd probably make for one of the sexiest exhaust tones ever.

It would cost you over 5k for a 5.4L High compression with the TFS heads. As stated TFS heads, cams, and ported heads will cost you 3k alone. Add the HPS intake $800 that = $3800. Plus buying a 5.4L ford f150 block $100= $3900. Finally buying new rods pistons bearings crank and having them all balanced will cost you near $1200 dollars. While your at it bore the block .020+ over $150. You are already at $5250 before tax and shipping. Assuming your going to do all the work.

Considering I just guessed 5k in a split second Id say I did a pretty good job with my estimate, itd probably come out closer to 6-6.5k after all is said and done though.

Hard part is getting the TFS head to keep that flow with an intake bolted to it. My best guess on the plastic intake is about a 210CFM intake limit give or take.

any tests on any aftermarket intake manifolds??? Or ported plastic manifolds??? Just a thought since you arent putting pressure into the manifold...just vacuum.

I forgot to add new injectors, fuel pump, dyno tune so it comes out above 6k.
