OK, there you go, lol. At 6k you've got your magic 50hp #. Just go with CMS, you wont be disappointed.

I love that video, but that guys times are more a testament to his drivetrain and suspension setup than it is the cams. Dont think youre going to be slapping in a set of hi-techs and be running low 12's or trapping 112.

Stage 2 cams are going to pull to well above 6k.. peak to peak comparisons with a stock cam vs a stage 2 are going to yield you 40+.. like i mentioned earlier.. A peak is just that, the maximum height of the parabola.. You WILL gain 40+ peak hp with any off the shelf decent stage 2 grind with full bolt ons.. A tune is part of it to make your car run right.
I've personally seen probably a half dozen pi head mustangs dyno with stage 2 cams. The best i saw (with stock heads and intake) was with CMS stage 2's. It gained 32 hp at the peak. Others i've seen seem to get around 25-30 hp max. I've seen blower cars pull a little higher.

Again i don't doubt 40+ on a naturally aspirated, stock head and intake stang, but i've never personally seen it.

Hell even JayC gained 40+ with his CMS cams IIRC. Everyone that I know with bolt ons and stage 2 cams hit between 295-305...

EDIT: just scrolled up and say Jays post..

I think you have been brainwashed by the bullet cam grinds lol..

+1...it's all his mods combined that net him those times...suspension, gears, slicks, obviously cams/bolt ons and of course, the driver mod...

Trap speed doesnt lie.. it tells you how fast a car really is.

Trap speed also has a lot to do with 60 foot times, if that car was cutting 2.0 60 foots id be suprised to see it trap 108.
