Actually PA is worse then RI... at least in RI you can tint the windshield to the AS1 line.

Yeah you're right so my state is the only state in the nation where 0 tint is allowed anywhere. I wonder why I got away with it for so many years especially with cops being along or behind me in traffic?

But there's arguments saying that 70% thing isn't the true PA law here http://www.berksweb.com/users/dmv/tint/

I'm way too busy studying to be researching this in depth so I suppose I'll just take the tint off and redo it after I graduate.

there's nothing you can do if it is bothering them that much. You have to take the tint off. The only thing you will do if you try to fight it is piss them off more. sorry man

remember, you are not the law, they are ;-)

yes i'm going to take it off.

Should I use nail polish remover to clean all the residue after I take the film off?

I had to take my off just recently and re-tint. I was at 30% and sota law is at 50%. Which really sux because I bought the car at a Ford dealership with it at 30% before sota changed the law (dealerships have to remove and retint cars to 50% before they can resell them). Luckily I knew a guy who owns his own car tinting place. I watched him do it & i didn't remember him using nail polish. IDK if it does or doesn't work. BUT i can say that to clean it he used a spray bottle of water/ baby shapoo mixture. Though my windows are retinted to 50% it isn't that bad. Yeah 30% was gr8 but not worth more hassle.

Wow man that sucks!!!

I love it here in FL... I have seen Multiple Street cars with Tint on the Front Window(Just like 50% +) Can see FINE at night with it, and it looks GREAT during the day... They have never gotten a Ticket...

I am actually thinking about getting my Front Tinted, but dont really wanna draw any unwanted attention to me ride..

i had the whole front windshield of my mustang tinted 50% and you couldnt really tell it was tinted unless you got in it and looked close at it.
