Default How much horsepower does it take

To lift the front wheels of a 99-04 mustang? Once you are able to do this, does this mean your car is no longer street legal? What makes a car not street-legal?

How much torque must hit the ground to lift up the front of our cars even if it is just an inch?

How much does the FRONT of our cars weigh? The back?

Without the right tires and suspension, no amount of power will lift the tires off the ground.

assuming the right suspension and tires on on the car. 400 might get one wheel off the ground. i think dimebag had a pic taken of him on his 100 shot lifting a tire? or maybe it was 01gt4.6?

Actually a buddy of mine has done it in his 05 gt, with slicks and skinny's, a ton of suspension mods, and only 300 rwhp.

lol someone on this site has the wheels coming up @ like 235whp or somewhere in the neighborhood im pretty sure its nothing more than 260whp its all about weight transfer, and i'm not even sure lifing is a good thing, some people say its a waste of energy where as you should be going foward, but usually people go foward and up at the same time lol.

I'm at stock power on motor... Only thing that helps w power is an or x pipe, and a canned tune... And I pull 1 wheel on motor

On the 100 shot, I pick them both up... 6in or so, depending on how I choose to launch

This was with stock bullits on the front and a 235 60 15 dr on the back. Haven't beeb witg the draglites, 275 50 15s rear and 15x3.5s on the front, should be a little higher

Lotta suspension work tho

depends on how much traction you got and how light your front end is

yeah its more about suspension setup than power.

front end lifting has ZERO input on street legal. bugatti veyron has 1000hp and is street legal. plenty of people have 600-1200 hp on street legal cars. if you can take it and pass emissions and turn signals and all that **** thats all that matters.

okay here's the deal. I did it with 217 rwhp on the motor with the car bogging on a cold slippery track, with a 2.0 60' (.4 slower than what I ran ON NITTOS)! I know someone is going to call BS. But here you go, the tune I had loaded in my car only made 217rwhp (on this particular dyno) at 3800 rpm, which is where my 2 step was set b/c it was fvcking up . Well everyone who knows me, knows I come with proof.

and the video...

Some people think that it takes a super fast 60' to do a big wheelie, not true. I believe this was a 1.7 60'
