Default car dying in nuetral

I have 2001 mustang gt 4.6L dohc 5spd the problem is it revs up and down in nuetral and will die than i replace iac valve and did nothing for me i also thought it could be vacuum leak but can not locate the leak no smoke machine available i was wondering what your guys input is and if it could be something else

Try cleaning your TB and MAF.

Where at in IL are you?

st charles are you in il also. I did just clean the tb but not maf i will try that can you use any electrical cleaning spray or is there a certain brand i should use

ok thanks for the advice ill let you know how it goes if by chance it does not work do you think vacuum leak would be the next best bet i just do not want to rush into pay some one 100$ to smoke it for me seems like such a simple job to make so much money on and all the places around here say that is about what they charge

Their could be a vacuum leak. Do you have any mods on your car?

-3.73 rear differential gears
-adjustable steeda suspension
-steeda subframe connectors
-steeda adjustable clutch cable
-stage 3 clutch
-adjustable heavy duty clutch quadrant
-2003 cobra front bumper
-bmw side mirrors
-shaved spoiler
thats the majority of them i know i am missing some tho just waiting to pay off the car so i can put a supercharger in there motor was custom built to handle 800hp so can not wait till i can get that kind of power in there right now it dynoed at 323hp at motor 293@wheels and i think it was 320ftlbs

Since you got a nice built block I say you should go turbo instead of supercharger. I'm tossing around the idea of either whipple or twin turbo's
