That's with the SI upgrade. I still have to jump to the T myself and I'm using the 3.12 pulley and making 16lbs after the I/C.

You are absolutely right about Vortech and what happens when they touch the blowers. I have never seen anyone get away with just an upgrade without a rebuild. Mine only had 4k miles on it. 928 Motorsports is a god place to buy

I did the T trim upgrade and saw about 1psi more on a hot and humid day, so it'll be interesting to get it re-dynoed this Fall. Plus I have stock PI heads/cams and intake. Upgrading the S to T is not as good as a T trim however Vortech stopped making em so you'd have to get a used head unit.

Right now, the head unit isn't making any noises or leaking or anything. If they take it apart, they might say that I need a rebuild, but by the way it's running, I don't think so. That would cost $1100. I have found used t-trims for under $1000.

I recently found something on 928 motorsports, but I am a bit skeptical of that as well. It basically looks like an SI upgrade which is good, and it can be spun to 60,000 that would be perfect for me, but they also claim it can do 1200cfm like a T-trim by 50,000rpm. I can't see that by the boost comparison graph that they have on their site.

Yeah, the weather will make a difference in boost, that is why I am hopefully going to do this soon or maybe just do a before and after on the dyno at the same time.

I was going to link 928 for you as an option but it's just the Impeller. Which makes it about equal with the SI trim. They do offer better bearings but it wont allow you to spin it any further because of Volume efficiency of horn. It's pretty expensive for what it is but it is an option. Give them a call, i've talked to them a couple of times they've been really helpful. Be careful though when I was going to sell my car this year I was talking to them and they almost had me convince to buy a Porsche, lol. (I quickly realized there's more into a Porsche project than ANY mustang, lol)
