well the way I think about it... whats the WORST that could happen? I need to have it re-build by vortech? (still under the cost of buying a brand new head-unit)

+ I am getting a intercooler setup

+ i am getting a set of 8 42lb injectors

with about $800 to spare (based off buying a brand new head unit)

you're also going to have to have some welding done with that DIY intercooler kit. you're going to need to weld a bung for the IAC valve and either a bung or flange for your BPV.

ok. can you explain to me in a little more detail?

I know the intercooler side needs a blow-off valve, will that in "in-line" with the piping, or does it split off the pipe somewhere to make a T or something. Also, what do I need to connect to the IAC? Haha sorry its my first time ;-) Thanks for the help guys.

well if you go with the stock BPV all you need is a bung welded then you can attach the BPV with heater hose. if you get a mini race bypass(reccomend it for more than 8psi) then you need a flange welded onto the piping. heres a pic of my engine bay:
see that hose, it is connected to a 3/4" piece of aluminum pipe that i had my buddy weld then i painted it

here is my BPV(mini race BPV) flange welded to the piping...keep in mind this is with a blow through setup. you havent said whether you're doing a blow through or draw through.

Here is an idea of what a draw through setup looks like. The MAF is in the fenderwell with the filter and the BPV is located in the discharge tube.

I though that with a intercooled setup you use a blow-thru and with a non-intercooled setup you use draw-thru?

Where can I look into getting a bypass valve? I assume that the guys has these pipes welded in already, since he was using it on his mustang before (and it was working) I will simply need to buy the hose and bypass valve.
