Yes I lightly scratched them with 800 grit sand paper and this step was actually done wet also. Yes this is for the clear coat to stick. No problems here in Houston. If I got stopped though that's the last of my worries. I also have 3% tint all the way around, no cats, db level is too high, etc.

i too would be interested in pics at night and day with the brake lights illuminated. looks amazing tho. now American Muscle sells tinted tail lights lol.. on a side note, glad to hear the killer from the 95 Houston ambush was finally executed.(article from your newspaper)

looks good, I would have done this already if it wasn't for the fact that California is hella strict. I had tail light covers on for a while and after 2 months, I was pulled over 3 times in one week. I figure ill get another set and tint those for car shows.
