Default Vortech V2 Si Trim

Here are the results from the new blower. Not that great, but oh well. It is an auto and their dyno is set for sea level when we are actually at about 4 or 500 feet here.

Current mods:
flowmaster catback
bassani catted x pipe
bbk shorty headers
trickflow intake plenum and 75mm t/b
Transmission cooler
diablo tuner
373 gears
subframe connectors
Vortech V2 Si non intercooled, factory psi (7 i think)

Not sure how to post video, but will try, and this is probably the worst video ever made, it was late and couldnt rev to much, it was also on my dig camera not my video camera, was supposed to be a rough draft to get an idea of how to record them because i never have, but didnt get around to doing another one, so take it or leave it. f it, heres the link.

I've gotta say, if it is 7psi, and you're non intercooled, those numbers don't seem too bad.

nice man. how do you like it? How does it feel on the road?

I just bought my V1 T-Trim, but I will not be happy unless I put at LEAST 400 to the wheels

Those numbers are not that bad at all for a 7psi, non-intercooled setup. Especially through an automatic.

Thanks guys makes me feel a lot better. I will get an intercooler in February and maybe get a smaller pulley. As for now I love it, it is obviously a major increase from before and took a little bit of getting used to at first. She definitely moves. I don't think the nitto 555s are going to cut it anymore though, it spins pretty hard and is kinda hard to keep straight. Probably have to go to d/r. But yeah it feels really good to know I actually have a chance of beating a lot of cars on the street now. Drove it to work and back staying out of boost saturday and sunday, daily driving seemed about the same as far as gas mileage and such goes. But when it gets towards to about 2800 rpms, it really picks up.

is it a nigh and day difference when you are in boost?

What do you mean by its hard to keep straight, you mean when you floor it? Can you break loose in 3rd? (at any RPM).

How would you describe what its like when boost kicks in?

Yes it is a night and day difference, but honestly it gets into boost really quick when I floor it. Yeah I mean it is hard to keep straight cus traction is being lost. I would have to double check but me and my friend were pretty sure it spun a little into third. It used to "grab" a 2nd before the blower, now it kicks out on 2nd. This is an auto keep in mind with shift firmness bumped up high. When boost kicks in, it sh$t and gets, don't know how else to describe it, just as you expect.

I was just reading about this in your thread. I'm totally new to this and honestly don't know, I had it professionally installed. I think it is a draw through though, I think the MAF is before the charger. If thats right.
