Default what are some good component speakers?

i love bass. but i dont feel like weighing my car down and using up the very limited space. so i fugured i could just replace the stock ones with some nice component speakers. any ideas?

Infinity Kapa's run 2ohm if you have Mach audio. Be careful of which speakers you get.

Yeah I too would be interested in finding some good speakers to replace the factory mach 460 ones...

I've installed dozens of Infinities w/ no returns or issues.

pioneers are pricey though right? and i want to make sure that the bass is a lot more improved bc my stang has like none. lol and what is mach? and 2 ohm? haha sorry

my gf has infinity speakers in her M3 and they sound really good as well

Do you have premium sound? Premium sound in mustangs is called "Mach460". If you have it it should say it on your tweeters opposite of your side mirrors.

If you don't have speakers there then you don't have Mach Audio.

Pioneers aren't any more expensive than any others.

Infinity is what I've always ran but I switched to high end audio.

If you have mach audio, you can only run certain speakers, that are 2ohm stable. If you don't hav Mach then you can run any 4ohm speaker that fits.

All the normal brands. I don't like Sony xplodes; Kewoods are getting better again but not the best. Infinity, Pioneer, Dirrected etc.
