Product Review Deck lid blackout and hood scoop decal
Well I couldn't decide if I wanted the honeycomb panel for the rear of my stang or if the vinyl was the better way to go. So I ordered the vinyl for the deck lid and also a decal to go in front of the bullit hood scoop from Ebay.
Hood Decal:
The quality was actually really good with a pretty tight fir but it does have some space on each side instead of going completely from side to side on the indent. The other issue was the vinyl I got had three small jagged creases in it so I am awaiting a new one from the seller. It was also supposed to include a rear valance blackout witch it didn't. So I am also waiting on that! But I installed the hood one anyway for some practice and it's VERY easy to put on. I was very upset to see the included squeegee left tons of scratches all over the vinyl as I didn't wrap it in a microfiber for the install. At least I should be getting another one however, so I am not to worried about it. I would buy this piece again.
Deck lid blackout:
Where to start. The quality of the material was good and it was laid out from left to right to make it easy. It DOES require you to remove the GT emblem as there is no cut out. I did mine with fishing line and used 3m adhesive remove after that. It can be found at any parts store pretty much and works great. It also removes wax from the paint before installing. Once I was done I had plenty of adhesive left on the emblem to stick it back on the blackout. Back to that blackout. I was expecting the pieces to be cut exactly to match but they aren't. The wrap around the corners and they DON'T want to stick on those parts at all. I had to do alot of trimming with an Exacto knife and it looks great far away but right directly in top of it you can see some jaggedness that most people are not ever going to notice. I would have been way happier if I had not had to try and trim all this but for way cheaper than a honeycomb panel, what can you say! The rest of the install other than that was great. and it looks great on the car! Just don't expect perfection from an ebay precut vinyl
I know that wasn't very detailed but it's the best I can do at 2 am lol. Let me know if you have questions and I will try and post pics tmrw or Saturday if I get time to wash it and if it is warm enough outside.

Update: I decided I am going ot just pull off the rear decklid overlay and do the actual honey comb piece. I am way to picky to stand the rough edges from trimming. I wouldn't suggest buying this unless you had an entire day to fool around with it lol.
