Nope heads are the same as Cobra. Only difference is Cams and Intake and other very minor stuff.

Yes it will
and Teksid block. So when looking to build a bad ass 4V always look for a Mark VIII 4V in a salvage yard first can find them cheaper.

Ok, I know quite alot about both cars. Mark VIII has a 6 bolt flywheel, where a cobra has an 8 bolt flywheel. The cobra uses a forged crankshaft, the mark uses a non forged. The cams are slightly different, but not that much. All Mark VIII's use the swirl port B heads, the 96-98 cobra's do as well. 99+ Cobra's use the C heads. The C heads will bolt on the Mark VIII block. The cobra intake will work fine with the Mark VIII engine.

As far as accessories, the only thing that is non transferable on the Mark VIII from a GT mustang or 2v 4.6 is the alternator. Obviously the spark plug wires are different on the GT mustang, but not the Cobra.

That should be about everything.
