Default lincoln markviii 4.6

i owne a markviii with the 4.6 4v dual overhead cam and i want to do some mods to the motor and i want to know if use parts from a mustang will it match my motor.

Things to do:
1) Fix exhaust leak
2) Remove isolators
3) Get rear decklid shaved and painted DONE
4) Get fog lights sprayed with black/clear mix
5) Get lower valence re-sprayed

So far, i'm 1/5....

I met up with a dude at the track last month with a Mark and he added a 96-98 Cobra intake and said it really helped.

I pretty sure it has different heads. I'm not a 4v guy so my up to date Nerd info might be lacking. IDR which years of the Mviii switched B/C heads or if they ever did. What year viii?
