Default Speedo Claibration

I am getting to do a gear swap on my 98 GT. I am going from 3.23 up to 3.73 but how do I recalibrate the speedo fro the new gear set?

Tuner, plus you can squeak out a few more ponies with it too.

I have 4:10 gears and I just went to the local ford dealer and they told me they can reprogram my computer. Costing me 85 bucks. But if you have the money I would go with a tuner.

Tuner will not work on 96-98 to recalibrate speedo
Speedcal will fix it

All the dealership will do is change your mechanical speedo gear and you speedo will not be 100% dead on. Speecal will put you 100%

buy the speedcal. http://www.americanmuscle.com/speed-...tor-94-04.html i used it on my 96 and it works perfectly. you have almost an infinite amount of gear ratios you can set it to so you get the speedo perfect. and yes there is a sheet that comes with it so you know where to set it for 3.73's

Thanks, I just goggled them and see that a unit for an auto is $99.00. About the same as the service charge at a dealership.
