Default bow through maf ?

what is the difference between a draw thru maf and a blow thru maf?

Draw through MAF is located before your blower, the blower sucks the air through the MAF and it's not as accurate and you have to run a bypass back into the intake after the MAF or it will throw off the readings.

Blow Through MAF go after the blower and read the air flow close to the T/B. This setup is more accurate and you can run a blowoff valve as long as the valve is before the MAF.

could i program the factory maf senser to be a blow thru and place it in a corect housing to be used on my s/c setup?

You can buy a used 90mm LMAF for about $75. Just buy the parts you need to ensure you don't blow up your car.

i have a sniper tuner software and was going through the tuning setup. on one of the steps it has maf brand, then maf injector and then the location( blow thru or draw thru). can i use this to tune a blow thru maf with factory senser?

found the book for 18 shipped brand new. gonna get it. if i was thinking straight, i would have gone to the sniper forums first. thanks for the suggestion
