Default help me mount my gauge pod....

Ok so I was a tight ass and didn't have much cash left after buying my cams and wideband. So I went on ebay and bought a no name single a pillar gauge pod. Low and behold it shows up with no hardware at all. Just the damn plastic piece. So how can I go about mounting this thing? I tried some double sided 3m tape stuff I have for trim with no luck because the pod doesn't exactly fir tightly on the pillar. Can I get a cheap bag of autometer hardware somewhere or something? Do I have to take out my gauge and heat the pod up or what? Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Is it the full length of the pillar? A lot of them replace the stock pillar, not just go on top. Hard to tell without seeing yours though.

I did the same thing as you and got a cheap one like that they suck and look bad.

I ended up just peeling back the weatherstripping on the pillar and using 2 sheetmetal screws on the top and bottom of the new pillar.

For the other side it's kind of just floating there but it sits kind of flush.

Eventually I'm going to get a better one but use screws where you won't see the holes if you ever decide to take the pillar out later.

Seriously, I would just not put it on. I would save up some cash and buy an SOS Pod, that's what I did. It replaces the entire stock pillar and its already painted to match the stock interior. You can even use the forum discount to save some money + free shipping.

I went back and looked at the auction and it was supposed to include hardware and stuff so I emailed the seller. It's not a complete pillar just a single pod. If it turns out badly I will just pick up a good one later. Thanks for the help guys.
