Default built t-45 or built 6 speed?

Ok so i have the t45 with 3.27 gears and 580rwtq but the stock trans crapped out so i need to upgrade. Switching from 4th to 5th gear with the t45 the rpms drop a lot my question is if i were to get a t-56 would there still be a big jump from 4th to 5th? also having 3.27 gears would i even benefit from a six speed transmission? not set on t-56 just would like to know what would be best for my setup. any info is appreciated.

well...idk the 6spd i know is easier to bang it into 5th to keep the rpms up, but either way 5th is in a another H pattern so to speak, so ur gon alose a few rpms compared to the 1-4 gear bangin, but wont be as bad, because i too lose osme serious rpms in my t-45...and i would go witht he 6spd as well becuase you can add a steeper gear and still have the roms to cruise on the highway with the double OD

well if you dont the like the big jump to 5th from 4th in the T-45, the T-56 will be what you want. The final gear ratio is the same(or so close you cant tell the difference) as the T-45, unless you get the Viper spec T-56. Basically the T-56 is the same as the T-45 with the exception of a extra gear that is placed in between the T-45's 4th and 5th gears. The T-56's 1st gear is taller though i believe. I wanna say the end gear ratio of the regular T-56 is like a .62 where as the viper spec is a .50 i believe.
