LOL thanks for the good luck. Looks like it's back to driving my winter pathfinder with 238k on the clock lol. At least I only paid 500 bucks for it! Yeah I wish I was in Anchorage. That places is like Vega compared to being in Fairbanks on the interior! Whole nother animal!

That's where the stupid body side molding was removed. The cheap adhesive messed up the paint. Why would I fix it in Alaska when I can get it for hlaf the price in the lower 48 next year? It's not like I am just letting it go. But it was either fix only that or be able to get cams mid pipe tb and plenum and the other ton of things I have gotten. **** happens

Sorry if I blew up but it pisses me off to be called out like that. Especially when I know the problem is there but am stuck in here where labor rates are double what they are back home. It's not like I am ignoring it hoping it will go away. It will actually be fixed in 1 year. Hell, I even mentioned that in the first post. It's not like it was even my fault. Cheap adhesive coupled with -40 degree and colder weather tends to bond to paint in a bad way. I am sure everyone here has some type of little thing they need to fix but have bought other stuff instead. I saw no need to stop the mods and spend twice as much as if I had waited, just to fix the doors. Ugh

Didn't remove it with the heat gun. Used a heatgun on one side at the lowest setting of like 100 to loosen up adhesive to get it off with the string method. The otherside I didn't even use it and it still happened. But what ever. **** happens

its not really a big deal... i would rather wait as well..

my friend tried to take his off and the same thing happened to him so he glued them back on...

some people get lucky and can take them off no worries and just buff the door and look brand new, while others don't have the same luck...
