Default Idler pulley question

Car is in sig. I believe it is an idler pulley issue but please correct me if I am wrong. When I start her up and put it into gear from park, sometimes, not depending on if it is warm or not, the car will die (rarely). Also, when in gear an idling, there is a very noticeable squeaking noise. It sounds like a bird chirping. It goes away when I put it back into P or N.
