11 sec N/A is going to be tough and expensive either way you go. You going to need more than heads and cams to get into the 11s (at least with 2v you will). Why not just supercharge it instead of staying N/A?

I barely have traction as it stands! I can get a spin free launch, then punch it and squeal the tires all the way through 2nd gear. Before gears I am going to get a tune for the 4V and get some bigger wheels/tires.

Yeah, I know of guys with 4.10's in a stock Mark VIII that are in the upper 13's in a 3800lbs lead sled. I can imagine what they would do in a 3000lbs mustang.

Hands down it was getting the motor out of the Mark VIII in the pick U pull. It was cold, it had just rained hard, and the car was at the BACK of the yard. Bout a 1/4 mile walk made worse by lugging around a 400+lbs engine puller with flat tires.

Aside from that, getting the 4V motor in the car and getting the transmission attached to it.

Yep. The Mark VIII uses the 6 bolt flywheel so you can even use the 96 flywheel and clutch.
