So i just got Urp catted x for my birthday and i have a magnaflow cat back (square mufflers), i normaly dont like magnaflow exhaust its to quite for me . My question is how does the SLP lm2s compare to most catbacks loudness whise ? i like the lm2s from what ive herd online its just hard to tell from the comp , they sound more refined than the lm1s but still seem to be pritty loud

im in the same situation but i have stock midpipe with rear cats taken out and im running no mufflers....LOUD but sounds like crap.
im looking into flowmaster 40's or 44's with stock midpipe(minus rear cats) i cant justify $400 for midpipe when i can get my whole exhaust done for $300 at a place i know(unless i was like you and had it given to me lol)
LM2s are the perfect loudness I think. Regular magnaflows are only a little louder than stock. LM2s are easily controlled but at WOT they SCREAM. they will sound sexy with your catted x also.
sweet yea they seem like a really nice exhaust but ive never herd one in real life i got the car with the magnaflow on it so i kinda figured ide have to change it out eventually
wow... i wish i can help you out because my friend has a UPR catted-x and SLP LM2 catback!!! you would be able to hear exactly what it sounds like if you were me! =P lol
i happen to love it. its pretty loud when he is on it, but its nice if your just cruising too... DOOOO ITTTTTT

Things to do:
1) Fix exhaust leak
2) Remove isolators
3) Get rear decklid shaved and painted DONE
4) Get fog lights sprayed with black/clear mix
5) Get lower valence re-sprayed
Here is my vid of LM2's with a o/r h. Hopefully this will give you a better idea what you are looking for. I really wish I had made a vid with lm1's and my h, god that was loud, maybe one day I will slap on back on for ****zandgiggles. Eventually, I will be getting LT's, catted x, and be going back to my lm1's. But I would recommend trying that out because I bet it does sound awesome.

^^^It seems to me (from what i've actually heard) that while chambered mufflers can be deeper than a resonator alone, a good straight throught muffler (Stingers, Packs, LM 2's, SSS Terminators, etc) can be just as deep, if not deeper than a chambered muffler.
Of course it all depends on the rest of the exhaust. My SSS Terminators are very deep, partly because i have a catted h and long tubes.
