Arrow Cams cams cams!

So here's the question that I want yalls opinion on.

I've got a 2000 GT with about 45k miles on it. I've got every bolt on known to man on this thing including a Nitrous Express 100shot and am looking at the engine now. My plan is Trick Flow TW heads that have had a trip to Fox Lake's shop, a 5.4 MMR block, a new intake manifold, and a supercharger FAR into the future. I want to get a nice set of cams now that will work best with the new heads and nitrous. I'm thinking that when I DO get the blower (prob a year in the future) I'll need a set of custom ground cams regardless.

So here's the question, with the nitrous, bolt ons, and other new parts...what would be the most ideal set of cams and why. I'm thinking in terms of hp here...don't care about sound, brand, or whatever...just looking to get the HP. I've looked at a few stage 2 and 3 regular cams and blower cams and am a bit lost. Please help.

Thank you,
Marcos

The Trick Flow heads are just too new for there to be a "best" cams. Whatever you do now will be surpassed in the very near future.

The cams that you may be best down the road (with heads and blower) will not be ideal for what you have now.

With that said Hitech, CMS, and Bullet Racing are some of my personal favorites.

For now strong n/a cams would be your best bet. Hitech stage 2's, CMS stage 1 or 2's, and Bullet Racing stage 2's, are all good choices.

JayC seems to be enjoying his CMS stage 2 cams

He also runs a pretty good 1/4 mile all motor and with a 150 shot

Otherwise Hitech, CMS, Bullet or Comp are popular choices.

I think they are the best N/A - N2O cams available. But I doubt they are what the OP needs for his build.

Hmmm...what would the pro/con be of going ahead and getting the blower cam now though my Novi 2000 is a ways off?
