Default Eaton S/C

So I was browsing Cl and found a used eaton s/c. It comes with the intercooler, lower intake and the s/c with a pulley. All for $350 each. The Eaton s/c has 32k miles when it was pulled. Is this a good deal? Would it be a good idea to send it for a port and polish? I would need injectors, piping, and what else?

i think your under the impression this will bolt right ot your car. it will NOT. you need to buy an adapter plate from torktech.com (1900$) and they have a list of everything else you will need. all in all you can have an intercooled eaton on your car for less than 3000 and produce some very nice numbers (at something like 10psi they made about 400rwhp and 440rwtq). this blower is a little more expensive to put on a 2v than a centri, but it will give you more of a KB feel and be more fun to drive on the streets than a vortech.

^^ As in what I need for my Bullitt? I thought that this was mainly a bolt on. I know I would need to upgrade my fuel pump as well.
Edit: ^ Thanks, I'll check that website. Hmm a s/c kit for under 3k does sound appealing. How much is it to port and polish Eatons? What is the benefit of doing a port and polish?

Don't waste your time with trying to adapt this to a 2v. At the end of the day you've spent a lot of money for a glorified heater. If you want a cheap supercharger kit, follow this thread https://mustangforums.com/forum/pipe...-its-done.html

it all depends on the port you get done. I know there are 2 guys on SVTP that port eatons...Steig and Posi. Steig ports are usually prefered over the posi racing ports. and the port and polish give you much better flow out of your eaton and make it somewhat more efficient. thats all for now...battery almost dead on laptop. more later if you want it.

i did a bunch of research on the eaton on the 2v setup and you'll prob spend another 1500 or 2000 over a vortech style setup. Then I think you need a new hood IIRC
