nvm i found a good thread all about sniper ill find a link and put it up but it sounds like the verdict for this thread is SCT>sniper>diablo any other suggestions... i know that SCT and diablo are probably the eziest to use and the sniper is more for advanced tunners

if you dont know how to tune (like me lol) id go SCT. i bought my car with a Diablo generic "93 tune" and it took a week to get a straight answer about what was generally altered in those types of tunes. im not a fan of how diablo handles stuff. Ex: tells you to post questions on their site forum before calling them....takes forever to get someone to answer you. when i did call they were always busy. i just wanted to know the parameters that are generally altered for my own curiosity, but that deemed too difficult for them. car tuning is not something i take lightly as it can royally screw with your car if wrong and to have to go "post a question" is annoying. i'd want to call and talk with someone directly whenever i need to.
im running stock right now (for winter) and when nice wheather comes along im going with a SCT 4 bank switch chip and dyno tuned. the tuner im going to will do 3 tunes(4th being stock) and supply the cable and switch for $210. i also have my brothers left over xcal2 when he has his 2000 GT supercharged so i can pull codes and whatnot. (it's locked and dont feel like paying SCT to unlock it)
plus i like the idea of the ability to switch between tunes whenever i want and not have to unload one tune and load another one on. for MY purposes i dont need anything crazy as this is a DD with minor bolt ons, im tuning it to get the most out of the mods i have then to enjoy the car.

SCT will let you turn off the rear o2 sensors if your running off road mid pipe. only the older Diablo's have this function (you can have a tuner add the o2 feature). also anyone with an automatic sct is much better. Diablo didn't seem to help the shift firmness much. also SCT felt like it had a bit more power. i have actually used SCT, Diablo, and Sniper. i really liked the Sniper but i got it when Windowds Vista first came out and it didn't get along very well with it. but car pulled really hard with Sniper installed.
