i have a 1998 mustang gt that I daily and drift on almost a weekly basis . Mustang are actually not bad at all for drifting . Only main thing that I suggest would be coilovers and after you get done learning with the stick angle get a pair of cut knuckles which are lik 350$ or lower . Tbh in my opinion the mustang is the most underrated car to drift even though in reality it is pretty good and you can find them for cheap . My car has a dual caliper hydro ebrake setup which cost me in total a little under 1k . You can drift them it’s all just a matter of practice like anything else .
