Default New Mod: MPG +9 City

I was tired of driving to school and home using like a quarter tank of gas, so I decided to find out how to fix my gas hunger...

It's no Mustang, but it gets me from A to B with twice the gas mileage and is keeping miles off my baby.

2000 Mitsubishi Galant
Car looks brand new and even still has the new car smell haha

Has anyone had their cars interior replaced with leather? The Galant has cloth that looks brand new still but if it's not too expensive I might get the seats redone with some leather.

What do you guys think?

cool. Be careful with those galants though, they are known to break down easy

It was driven as a second car by my mom since it was new and it was maintained perfectly. The only problem it's had, which has become reoccuring and may eventually have to be fixed again are the brakes. My mom took it to Just Brakes and they messed up the rotors while replacing the pads to fix a minor squeeking noise. After that the car would shake while coming to a stop similar to how warped rotors feel. I think they had them resurfaced or replaced and there are no problems anymore. If they act up again I'll probably just upgrade the entire brake system because I plan on having this car until it dies.

How much did it run ya? That's a great addition. I drive a honda civic around quite often, especially now in winter time, and its nice to get 30mpg and not have to fill up once every five days.. I even take it to school sometimes bc like you, i go through 1/4 tank going back and forth to school, plus people hit their doors into mine when i park so i get relaly pissed off. lol

VERY NICE! HOW MUCH?!?!? (BORAT)

Congrats on the addition to your fleet. The paint looks pretty good considering it's a mitsu galant.
