If your car is some what stock, i wouldnt even waste your money on one. It wont add any real hp or make the car sound cool. It really only benifits you if you are running some form of FI. Until then, save your pennies....

I'm gonna agree, i think a fairly stock car will see the same amount of HP gain if any with a normal K&N drop in filter with the air silencer removed.

I am jumping on this bandwagon here. Remove said silencer, buy K&N, drop it in, call it a day. If you are dying to get a cai, to get rid of the stock look, then I would suggest looking hard at JLT. They are one of the best looking IMHO.

Not to be technical and all, but wouldn't that be a warm air intake since superchargers heat the air? Just saying. Besides, I would rather have Scarry's TT setup:

It is Conrad Scarry's car, he races in the NMRA. Another big name turbo car is Dan Millen. Here is a Millen video with them two going heads up.

You can check out NMRADigital they have a free download of their mag "race pages" and they always stay up to date on what these guys are doing.

If you really have nothing better to do, there is a set of millen vids where they take the car out for a spin to go pick up lunch at BK. I would love to see that car pass me on the highway lol.
