Default Need purchasing advice

I am looking at a 2001 GT, with 75,000 miles in very good condtion here is the link http://janesville.craigslist.org/cto/1557367126.html they will take $6,300 for it. I've owned a couple fox bodies as well as a 2005V6 and 2008GT. I've been without a Mustang for the past year and really miss owning one. I am trying to find something that I can drive on a regular basis but not as a daily driver, eventually add either a turbo or supercharger . Looking for people opinions on the deal.

Thanks

looks good, I would see it in person before getting your heart set on it.

That's a fair/good price for a 2001 auto, the slushbox knocks the price down a bit...

I've already looked at it and driven it. Looks good, drives nice only issue I noticed were with the brakes, starting to make some noise when applying them.

Looks like a nice car, have fun with that black paint if you end up getting it. But sadly, it's just another reminder for me as to how much the value on my car has tanked in the last year. I'm not looking to sell, but being a financed vehicle it's nice (soon to be "was nice") to know that I'm not upside down on it.

They're a dime a dozen, don't be afraid to low ball the guy.

But don't be offended if he calls you a dick and says no way.

I've been thinking about the value of the New Edge GT's alot recently. Several people at work are super surprised that my car is as old as it is, and that it's worth as little as it is.

If you want a fun daily driver Mustang that still moves respectably for only a little cash, the 99-01's are a great choice, and as we see here can be had for well under 7K dollars.

Seems like a good price in my opinion... just make sure there is nothing wrong with it, as i have learned the hard way "people usually dont sell there car because it is running good and there is nothing wrong with it"
