Default Throttle body/plenum

hey i am going to get a new intake/plenum for my 99gt but i cant decide which brand to go with. The BBK combo is much cheaper than some other combos like Accufab (double the price of BBK) but i heard it can actually loose power when not running and turbo or supercharger. Besides BBK

Accufab

UPR

Professional Products

wondering which one you guys think. I already have the BBK CAI

Accufab is the best, but you'll pay for it. I run the Accufab 75mm combo.

The BBK 78mm tb/plenum in one is more air than you need. I would look into something like C&L as a decent alternative to the Accufab.

My proffesional Products TB and plenum combo was pretty good, and hard to beat at $219

I was gonna buy it a while back. If you have the stock tb/plenum you might gain a couple of hp.

I've got the ProProducts tb/plenum, good stuff. Either 70 or 75mm will work fine for you, maybe do the 75mm if you're hoping to do a supercharger down the line, but even so a 70mm will be fine as well. After this, start on your exhaust (mid pipe & cat back) if you haven't already and then gears.

I got Pro. Product TB and Plenum as well, it was cheap but its pretty nice, I match ported my plenum to match the tb because there was a little lip on part of it so I smoothed it out. But other than that I like it.
